"Trinity with the Virgin, Saint John the Evangelist, and Donors" 
With the Father behind the Son, the invisible Holy Spirit in their halos;
the Virgin to the left, and Saint John to the right - roughly life-sized 
by Masaccio (Italian, 1401–1428)
fresco (667×317cm) - originally used as altar
The cadaver tomb at the bottom is "memento mori", 
reminding us that we are mortals;
Its epigram says: "I was once what you are, and what I am you will become". .
